Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/3 c. melted shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
    pinch of salt
    pinch of baking soda
Preparation
    Make a well in the flour and add the shortening, buttermilk, salt and soda.
    Stir until dough leaves sides of bowl.
    Turn out on floured board and work slightly.
    Pat out to 1/2-inch thickness.
    Cut biscuits out and place in pan or on cookie sheet. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
