Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 oz. or 1/4 c. red food coloring
    3 Tbsp. Nestle's Quik cocoa, instant
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Mix coloring and cocoa together; let set.
    Beat together the Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs one at a time and continue beating. Add coloring, cocoa and vanilla.
    Stir well.
    Alternately add cake flour and salt which have been sifted together and the buttermilk. Beat hard.
    Stir in the vinegar and soda.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35-40 minutes.
