Crispy Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage, shredded
    1 small onion, minced
    1/2 cup sweet pickle cubes
    1 cup mayonnaise
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/4 white vinegar
    1 Tbsp salt
    1 tsp celery seed or celery salt
    1/4 tsp pepper
    leaf lettuce, pepper rings and pimento
Preparation
    Combine first three ingredients in a large bowl.
    Set cabbage mixture aside.
    Combine mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar and seasoning, stir well.
    Pour over cabbage mixture, toss well, cover and refrigerate coleslaw several hours.
    Serve cole slaw in lettuce lined bowl and garnish with pepper rings and pimento if desired.
