Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box cake mix (eggs and oil as per cake mix directions)
    1 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 can sliced pineapple
    1 jar whole maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Mix cake according to package directions.
    Place pan on burner to melt butter (low setting).
    Stir in brown sugar (enough to completely cover bottom of pan).
    Distribute pineapple slices. Place one cherry in each slice.
    Spread cake batter evenly over mixture and bake until inserted toothpick comes out clean, approximately one hour, at 350\u00b0 or according to cake mix directions.
