Chickpea Sesame Dip - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) can drained chickpeas (reserve the liquid)
4 cloves garlic, chopped coarse
1/2 tsp. salt or to taste
1/4 c. lemon juice or to taste
1/2 c. sesame paste (be sure to stir this stuff before you use it because it will separate into its parts)
2 Tbsp. minced parsley
Preparation

In food processor, puree chickpeas, 1/4 cup reserved liquid, the garlic, salt and lemon juice.
Add sesame paste; whirl or stir until smooth and creamy, adding more liquid, salt and lemon juice if needed.
Refrigerate, covered, at least overnight to develop flavors.
To serve, mound in shallow bowl; sprinkle with parsley. Makes about 2 cups.
