Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. oatmeal
    1 1/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 large eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over 1 cup oatmeal and set aside.
    Cream together butter, brown sugar, white sugar, vanilla and eggs.
    Sift together flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg.
    Mix with the creamed mixture.
    Add the oatmeal.
    Mix well.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Bake until cake test is done.
    Cook in 350\u00b0 oven.
