Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white Karo syrup
    1 Tbsp. hot water
    2 c. raw peanuts
Preparation
    Combine and cook 12 to 15 minutes (until spins a fine thread). Remove from stove.
    Add 1 teaspoon soda.
    Spread thin on a buttered cookie sheet or marble slab.
    Cool.
    Break into pieces.
