Buttermilk Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time; add flavoring.
    Add flour gradually with buttermilk.
    Beat well.
    Pour in greased and floured tube pan. Bake in 325\u00b0 oven for 1 1/4 hours.
    Cool in pan for 10 minutes.
