Peggy'S Chicken Liver Pate - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. chicken livers
1 c. chicken broth
1/4 c. white wine
1 bay leaf
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cube chicken bouillon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1 tsp. dry mustard
2 Tbsp. chopped black olives (optional)
Preparation

Place chicken livers, broth, wine, bay leaf, salt and bouillon in saucepan.
Cover and simmer gently until livers are just cooked through, approximately 10 minutes.
Drain, reserving liquid. Place in blender with remaining ingredients.
Blend well, adding reserved liquid as needed for a spreadable consistency.
Pack in crock and chill well before serving.
