Cherry Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. pitted fresh dark sweet cherries
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. regular oats
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/3 c. softened butter or margarine
Preparation

Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
Spread cherries in an ungreased square pan, 8 x 8 x 2 inches.
Mix remaining ingredients with a fork. Sprinkle over cherries.
Bake about 30 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
Serve warm with cream or ice cream, if desired. Makes 6 servings.
