Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. chopped dates
    2 Tbsp. water
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 egg, beaten
    2 1/2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 c. nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
    coconut
Preparation
    Cook dates and water; cool.
    Add sugar and egg; mix well.
    Add Rice Krispies, nuts and vanilla.
    Grease hands; shape into balls. Roll in coconut.
    Store in refrigerator.
