Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
3/4 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. hot water

Preparation

Mix in order the first 8 ingredients.
Mix cocoa and hot water.
Add to batter; pour into pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 30 minutes.
