Sweet Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vinegar
    2 c. water
    3 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. mustard seed
    cucumbers
    onions
Preparation
    Bring the first 6 ingredients to a boil.
    Place 1 slice of onion in the bottom of each jar, then fill with sliced pickles. Pour hot liquid over pickles and seal.
    Put jars in hot water and bring to a rolling boil.
    Remove jars from water.
    Fills 7 pints.
