Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots, sliced
    1 very large white onion, sliced
    1 can tomato soup
    1/2 c. oil
    3/4 to 1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. each: Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Boil sliced carrots until tender.
    Cool and drain.
    Layer in a non-metal bowl with sliced onion.
    Heat together remaining ingredients.
    Pour over carrots and onions.
    Marinate overnight, stirring several times.
