Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. frozen peas
    1 pt. carrots, chopped
    2 to 3 c. cooked chicken
    1/2 c. butter
    2 c. milk and cream, mixed (1 c. of each)
    pie crust
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 large stalks celery, chopped
    1/2 c. flour
    2 c. chicken broth
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cook peas and onions together; set aside.
    Cook carrots and celery together; set aside.
    Cut up chicken; set aside.
    In large pot, melt butter.
    Add heaping 1/2 cup flour and blend well.
    Add milk and cream and 2 cups chicken broth slowly.
    Cook until sauce is creamy.
    Add mixture to vegetables, chicken and lemon juice. Mix well and season to taste.
    Pour into pastry lined 3-quart casserole.
    Top with crust.
    Slit top and bake at 350\u00b0 to 400\u00b0 or until browned.
