Pepper Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef, cut into thin strips
1/4 c. salad oil
1 clove garlic
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. water
1 c. green peppers, cut in 1-inch pieces
1 c. chopped onions
1/3 c. chopped celery
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
2 tomatoes, cut in eighths
Preparation

Brown beef in oil.
Add garlic and cook until yellow. Add soy sauce, salt, 1/4 cup water and cook for 45 minutes.
Add vegetables. Cook 10 minutes. Stir in cornstarch blend with 1 cup water. Add tomatoes and cook 5 minutes. Serve over rice.
