Cabbage Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head cabbage
    1 onion, chopped fine
    3/4 c. sugar
    3/4 c. oil
    1 c. vinegar
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix first 3 ingredients and set aside.
    In saucepan, add the last 5 ingredients and bring to a boil.
    Pour over cabbage and stir often.
    When cool, refrigerate.
    Best if made a day ahead of time.
