Fruited Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. milk
    1 pkg. vanilla pudding mix
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. currants
    1/3 c. pineapple
    2 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    Heat milk to boiling over moderate heat. Quickly stir in vanilla pudding mix and bring to a boil. Remove from heat.
    Stir in cinnamon dissolved in vanilla, sugar, currants and pineapple or favorite preserves. Stir in cooked rice and blend. Chill. Top with whipped cream.
