Marie'S Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. uncooked macaroni
3 to 4 c. shredded cheese
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
2 c. milk
4 eggs
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Cook macaroni as per directions; drain and return to cooking pan.
Add the butter or margarine; stir thoroughly.
In lightly buttered pan (either 9 x 13-inch or 9 x 9-inch), place 1/2 the macaroni.
Cover with 1 1/2 to 2 cups shredded cheese.
Add second layer of macaroni and cheese.
Beat the eggs with a fork or beater; add the milk, blending thoroughly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 (325\u00b0 if glass pan if used) for 40 to 45 minutes, or until cheese on top is slightly browned and a bit crusty.
