Cake Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

5 Tbsp. flour
1 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
1/4 lb. margarine
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Cook flour, milk and salt to a paste; let cool.
Beat shortening, margarine and sugar until fluffy.
Add together; beat. Add vanilla.
