Pickled Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. eggs, hard-boiled
    2 c. white vinegar
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pickling spice, put in cheesecloth
    1 onion, sliced
Preparation
    Simmer ingredients, except eggs, for 5 minutes.
    Pour over eggs in large jar.
    Refrigerate for 3 days.
