Pan-Fish With Green Onions And Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    fish fillets or whole fish
    1/4 c. cornmeal
    1/4 c. flour
    salt and pepper
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3/4 lb. mushrooms, sliced
    1 Tbsp. crushed capers
    6 green onions, sliced
    2 cloves garlic, sliced
    1/4 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp. tarragon
    2 Tbsp. chopped chives
Preparation
    Dredge the fish in a mixture of cornmeal, salt and pepper.
    Fry fish in 2 tablespoons butter until browned on each side.
    Transfer to a dish.
    Saute mushrooms and capers in another skillet in 2 tablespoons butter or margarine and remove them to a lightly buttered shallow baking dish.
    Saute the onions and garlic in butter for 1 to 2 minutes.
    Lay the fish on the bed of mushrooms, sprinkle with bread crumbs mixed with tarragon and spread the onions, garlic and chives over this.
    Bake in a preheated 400\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
