Baked Rice - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1 sprig thyme (or 1/4 tsp. dried)
1 bay leaf
2 Tbsp. minced onion
1 c. uncooked rice
3 sprigs parsley
Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Melt half the butter in a heavy saucepan, cook the onion and garlic, until the onion is translucent.
Add the rice and stir briefly, until the rice is coated with butter.
Stir in broth and spices.
Cover with a loose fitting lid and place in oven.
Bake exactly 17 minutes.
Discard parsley and thyme sprigs and bay leaf and serve.
