Red Velvet Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 oz. red food coloring
    2 1/4 c. plain flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar; add eggs.
    Make a paste of red coloring and cocoa.
    Add to cream mixture.
    Add vanilla.
    Mix buttermilk in same cup as coloring.
    Use all clinging coloring. Sift flour, salt and soda together.
    Add to mixture; beat well. Fold in vinegar.
    Pour into 2 cake pans lined with greased wax paper.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
