Mrs. Mcmullan'S Fruit Cake(From The Files Of Dessie Bell Hayes) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. pecans, chopped
    1 carton each candied cherries (red and green)
    1 lb. dates
    2 c. coconut
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 c. Eagle Brand milk
Preparation
    Chop everything good.
    Using both hands, mix and mix until all mixed good.
    Makes 2 loaves.
    Put wax paper in pans and press cake until well packed.
    Place in 250\u00b0 oven for 1 hour.
    Test to see if it sticks together.
    If it does, remove from oven.
    Let cool. When cooled, remove from pan and remove wax paper.
    Wrap in a cloth soaked with grape juice or wine.
    Store for future use.
