Louisiana Yam Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. mashed cooked yams
1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. light cream
1/2 c. milk
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
10-inch unbaked pastry shell
Preparation

In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Pour into pastry shell and bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.
May be served with Cool Whip on top.
