7-Up Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. lime or lemon jello
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. 7-Up
    2 to 3 tsp. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. pecans (optional)
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Let cool.
    Add 7-Up, sugar and vanilla.
    Add nuts, if desired.
    Soften cream cheese at room temperature.
    Cream and mix with crushed pineapple.
    Mix into jello and pour into an 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Chill until set.
