Saucy Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 slices bread
    1 (5 oz.) can evaporated milk
    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 egg
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
Preparation
    Soak bread in evaporated milk in bowl.
    Add ground chuck, onion, egg, tomato sauce, salt and pepper; mix well. Shape into loaf.
    Place in cast-iron baking pan.
    Pour tomatoes over top. Bake, covered, at 400\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Yield:
    5 servings.
