Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 potatoes (large), boiled in their jackets and cooled completely
    1/2 lb. Monterey Jack cheese, grated
    1 1/2 c. half and half
    1 quarter oleo
    3 medium green onions (1/2 c.), sliced thin
    bacon, crumbled
    8 oz. sour cream
Preparation
    Put cheese, half and half and oleo in a saucepan and melt into a smooth sauce, stirring constantly.
    Grate the potatoes and stir in sauce, mixing thoroughly.
    Put in a 13 x 9-inch casserole, packing firmly.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Spread sour cream on top and spread onions evenly over the top. Fry and crumble bacon on top of the green onions.
    Put back in the oven and bake 5 minutes longer or more.
