Frozen Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 (8 oz.) can unsweetened crushed pineapple
    1 (8 oz.) can unsweetened pineapple chunks
    3 sliced bananas
    3/4 c. chopped pecans
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (12 oz.) carton frozen whipped topping, thawed
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Drain fruits.
    Blend sugar, cream cheese and salt.
    Fold in whipped topping.
    Combine all ingredients and pour into a 9 x 13 x 2-inch glass dish.
    Cover and freeze.
    Remove from freezer a few minutes before serving time.
    Cut in squares and serve on lettuce. Garnish with fresh strawberries if desired.
    Serves 12 to 15.
