Cold Oven Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks whipped oleo
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    3 c. plain flour
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. lemon or almond flavoring
Preparation
    Whip together the whipped oleo, Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time and beat into mixture.
    Add remaining ingredients. Mix all together.
    Grease and flour a tube cake pan.
    Start in cold oven at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes, then at 325\u00b0 for 50 minutes more (one hour and 20 minutes in all).
