Chicken And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. long grain rice
    1 1/4 c. water
    1 small onion, chopped
    1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut up
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
    1/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Spread rice in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Add water. Sprinkle onion over mixture.
    Season chicken to taste; place, skin side up, on rice mixture.
    Slightly dilute soup with milk; spread over top of chicken.
    Cover with foil; bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Serves 4 to 6.
