Corn Light Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising meal
    1 c. self-rising flour, sifted
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 1/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Mix ingredients together and put in a greased loaf pan.
    Bake 45 minutes at 375\u00b0.
    Remove pan from oven and cover with cloth to cool.
