Country Sweet-Sour Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 apples, peeled and sliced
    1 tsp. onion powder
    1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 medium red cabbage, cut up
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. vinegar
Preparation
    In a large pan, add first 5 ingredients.
    Cook 10 to 15 minutes.
    When cabbage is tender, add brown sugar and vinegar.
    If desired, salt and pepper.
    Cook an additional 5 to 10 minutes to let the sugar/vinegar cook a bit.
