Orange Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3/4 c. orange juice
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    3 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Put sugar and orange juice in large saucepan and cook to a soft ball stage on candy thermometer (236\u00b0 to 240\u00b0).
    Turn off heat and add orange rind and pecans.
    Use a wooden spoon; stir until mixture turns cream color (5 to 7 minutes). Pour onto cookie sheet; spread out.
    When cool enough to handle, break apart.
