Rhubarb Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. oatmeal
    1 c. oleo
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. rhubarb
    1/4 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Mix first seven ingredients together.
    Put 3/4 of oatmeal mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Cook last five ingredients together. Pour cooked rhubarb over oatmeal mixture.
    Top with remaining oatmeal mixture.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes, cool and cut into bars.
