Norwegian Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. mustard seeds
    1 tsp. celery seeds
    1 diced green pepper
    2 c. diced celery
    1 diced small onion
Preparation
    Mix together chopped or shredded cabbage with salt.
    Let stand for 2 hours.
    Boil the sugar and vinegar and add to the cabbage. Then add the mustard seed, celery seed, green pepper and celery; mix well.
    Keeps several days in Tupperware or plastic containers. Use as desired.
