Ingredients

1/2 c. (1 stick) oleo
1 c. shortening
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. firmly packed brown sugar
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. white sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. water
3 eggs (one at a time)
3 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

Beat first 6 ingredients until light and fluffy.
Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well.
Combine dry ingredients and blend into butter mixture.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop from teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
