Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 egg
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. milk
1 c. meal
2 c. flour
1/2 lb. cheese, grated
1 chopped onion

Preparation

Mix well and fry in deep fat. Wonderful to serve with fried fish.
