Ingredients

1/2 lb. cherries (1/4 green and 1/4 red)
1/2 lb. dates
1/2 lb. pineapple
3 c. self-rising flour (1 c. to dredge fruit)
2 c. nuts
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
Preparation

Cream together margarine and sugar.
Add eggs, one at a time. Add nuts and spices, then flour and fruit last.
Bake 10 minutes at 350\u00b0 (15 for electric stove).
For softer cookie, bake 8 to 9 minutes.
