Ingredients

2 c. cooked beets, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. mild vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Melt butter in saucepan.
Add cornstarch; mix until smooth. Stir sugar and vinegar, making a smooth sauce.
Add beets; let cook slowly until thoroughly heated.
