Rock Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 egg
    1/3 c. butter or margarine
    scant 1/3 c. milk
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/3 c. sugar
    nutmeg
Preparation
    Sift the flour into a medium sized bowl.
    Cut in the butter or margarine until it resembles breadcrumbs.
    Add the dry ingredients, a little grated nutmeg and the egg, well beaten.
    Add the milk, being careful not to make the mixture too moist.
    Put in small heaps on a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
