Microwave Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. salted peanuts
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 tsp. margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation
    Combine sugar and corn syrup in an 8-ounce measure.
    Cook for 4 minutes at 100% power.
    Add the peanuts and cook for 3 or 4 more minutes.
    Add margarine and vanilla and cook for 1 more minute. Add soda and stir until mixture is light and foamy.
    Pour and spread onto a greased flexible baking sheet.
    Cool for 1/2 hour and then break into pieces.
    Store in an airtight container.
