Potato Refrigerator Dough - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. lukewarm water or potato water
2/3 c. sugar
1 pkg. yeast
2/3 c. soft shortening
1 c. lukewarm mashed potatoes
7 to 7 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs
Preparation

Mix 1 cup of lukewarm water with sugar and salt.
Sprinkle yeast over 1/2 cup lukewarm water; stir yeast until dissolved.
Add to first mixture.
Add slightly beaten eggs and shortening.
Mix in first with spoon, then with hand, the potatoes and flour.
Knead until smooth.
Place in refrigerator in large Tupperware bowl. About 2 hours before baking, shape rolls into desired shape. Cover; let rise until light (1 1/2 to 2 hours).
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Makes 4 dozen.
