Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. corn meal mix
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. sugar (optional)
    1 egg, beaten
    3 tsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
    Grease and heat a medium iron skillet or 9-inch baking pan.
    Combine beaten egg and buttermilk.
    Add corn meal; mix sugar and oil.
    Stir until moistened.
    Pour into greased pan.
    Bake 20 to 25 minutes until brown.
