Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 onion, chopped
    1 c. instant rice
    1 can Ro-Tel tomatoes
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. chili powder
    dash of pepper
    Velveeta cheese
Preparation
    Brown hamburger in skillet and add onion and green pepper. Cook until tender.
    Add tomatoes and seasonings, bring to a boil. Stir in rice, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
    Turn heat off.
    Top with slices of Velveeta cheese and cover until melted.
