Ingredients

pastry (enough for double crust pie, made with butter flavor Crisco)
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. minus 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Roll pastry into rectangle.
Slice butter and scatter pats all over pastry.
Sprinkle with cinnamon.
Roll pastry as you would for a jelly roll, starting on long side of rectangle.
Curve roll around inside greased 2 1/2-quart baking dish.
Mix sugar, vinegar and water.
Pour over roll.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes or until slightly browned and syrup is bubbly and beginning to thicken. Serve as is or with heavy cream.
