Shrimp Scampi - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. shrimp
    1/2 c. butter
    4 to 6 garlic cloves
    1/2 c. dry white wine
    1 medium onion or 4 to 6 shallots
Preparation
    Melt butter.
    Saute onions and minced garlic.
    Add wine.
    Peel and devein shrimp.
    Layer shrimp in shallow baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
    Serve over rice pilaf.
