Ingredients

1 clove garlic (per pint)
1 pod hot pepper (per pint)
1 tsp. dill seed (per pint)
1 qt. vinegar
1 c. water
1/2 c. plain salt
Preparation

Put garlic and pepper in bottom of hot pint jars.
Remove part of steam from okra pods.
A part of stem must be left on.
Pack okra firmly in jars; add dill seed.
Use small pods of okra.
Bring vinegar, water and salt to boil; simmer for five minutes.
Pour over okra and seal jars.
Solution makes about 6 pints.
