Caribbean Black Beans And Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. water
    1 lb. black beans
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 slices bacon
    1/2 c. olive oil
    2 tsp. garlic salt
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 bay leaf
    2 Tbsp. apple cider
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 c. brown rice, cooked
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients, except rice, in a large pot.
    Bring to a boil.
    Reduce to a low heat.
    Cook around 3 hours.
    When beans are tender, add rice and serve.
    Serves 8.
